Taylor Gang Records
Taylor Gang Records is an American independent record label and management company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania founded by rapper Wiz Khalifa. Rapper Juicy J serves as a co-owner and A&R for the label. The record label is home to artists such as Chevy Woods, Berner, Project Pat, and Ty Dolla $ign among other artists.
== History ==
Initially being Khalifa's fan base network, street team and home to his crew it is currently a full label that holds Hip hop and R&B acts, and also runs a clothing line. The 'Taylor' hails from the high school that Wiz Khalifa attended, named Taylor Allderdice High School, and from his affinity for Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers. In December 2011, Khalifa revealed that rapper Juicy J was now a part owner and A&R representative for the label.〔http://www.complex.com/music/2014/01/juicy-j-lord-infamous-taylor-gang-interview〕 The record label also doubles as a supergroup and they announced plans to release an album as a group in 2014. In July 2013, Khalifa signed Ty Dolla $ign to Taylor Gang Records.
